Started out as an armor concept. Developed into a finished picture of a swooping dragon.

I like the armor design, especially the armor in dragon head...

Thank you. This one actually started out as a few sketchy head armor designs. I went with the one I liked the best then based the rest of the armor around that one piece.
Everything basically came from various things that I like.

It really looks great- I love the design of the armor and the foggy atmosphere of the picture. :D
Some things could have been still improved, like for example the rocks- while the dragon is really detailed, the rock in the foreground looks rather rushed.
Also the front paws/hands should be a little bit improved- it looks weird if all fingers are in the exactly the same position.
Overall, it's a good picture! :)

The rocks are low detailed as to not distract from the focus of the image. Maybe they are a bit too low detailed. I'm not sure, but I believe that a dragon could hold all the fingers in the same direction, idk it just seemed most natural to me. I guess that the claw reaching out could be spread a bit more.
thanks :D

Hmm.. I think the rock in the foreground would need some details- as long as you don't overdo it, it shouldn't distract really from the dragon. :)
Well, somehow the claws look still weird and I thought it might be because of that... but as I said: I also have problems with claws and feet so I'm not sure. :P
No problem!
